After having to put new puppy parents on a waitlist for training, Ann wanted a way to help them immediately with their most pressing puppy needs. As a result, she created Puppy Primer, a series of short, self-paced, on-demand courses designed to guide puppy-parents through those challenging first weeks and months.
A veteran and former federal service employee, Ann's experience and education fuel a compassionate and empathetic approach to teaching and inspiring her client/students to be more effective, kind, considerate, curious and connected dog-parents.
A lifetime learner, she stays current with the latest dog training practices and studies, regularly participates in continuing education classes and conferences and is a professional member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers, Thrive! and the Pet Professional Guild. She practices positive reinforcement training and has certifications from Animal Behavior College (ABCDT) and the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CPDT-KA).
